Best Italian craftsmanship

At Marzorati , we go the extra mile to achieve excellence, thanks to our Italian craftsmen and women, who bring our designs to life and whose quality of work and attention to detail help to sustain our high standards. We pride ourselves on our continued effort to source the finest materials and most skilful artisans throughout Italy.

What sets us apart:  our passion for design

Our furniture is made entirely to order, which separates us from other ‘off-the-shelf’ makers and retailers. As a result, no two pieces are identical. Each one requires coordination from numerous teams of specialists around Italy, which include both our in-house expert cabinet makers and polishers and many external craftsmen. It’s by enlisting people who have been practising and perfecting their crafts for years that we are able to maintain such a high-quality product.

For us, another motivation for championing Italian craftsmanship is the revival of heritage techniques that date back hundreds of years. We feel passionately about keeping these crafts alive and passing them on to the next generation, especially as the number of people taking up these ancient skills is dwindling.

In-House Manufacturing craftsmanship

By enlisting the rare talents of specialists – such as the wood carver who chisels the intricate relief pattern on the doors of our Louvre cocktail cabinet entirely by hand – not only are we able to provide our customers with unique, high-quality furniture that will last for years, but we are also helping to preserve treasured crafts that are otherwise in danger of being lost.

And, while the many processes that go into creating our bespoke furniture may be complex, for us, it truly is a labour of love. You will find this dedication to Italian craftsmanship in all our pieces, such as the award-winning Ambra table, which took six months and a team of skilled artisans to develop the prototype. It’s all part of our commitment to Italian manufacturing and the finest Italian craftsmanship, which we hope will allow us to continue making future heirlooms for generations to come.

For more than 50 years we have evolved our own unique approach to creating our handmade cabinets and other bespoke furniture. From our initial consultation to discuss your requirements, through our in-house design and manufacturing process to the final installation and aftercare, we pay meticulous attention to detail and take enormous care to ensure everything is exactly as you want it. Whatever you have in mind, we will make it possible. Some of the elements that make us different are detailed below, but we believe there is no substitute for visiting our showroom and factory to see what makes our furniture and service truly different.

Your furniture will be made entirely in-house, by us, for you. We don’t have standard sizes or ranges, and we believe only our own people can achieve the levels of workmanship, fit and finish you and we demand. Traditional or modern, ornate or minimalist, you have complete freedom regarding materials, finishes and accessories.

Whatever you choose, we’ll select the highest grade timbers, to minimise subtle grain differences for a consistent harmonious look: all our timber is sustainably sourced, with all waste going to heat our factory rather than landfill. We combine the latest CNC cutting equipment with time-honoured joinery techniques like dovetailed joints to ensure your furniture is both millimetre-precise, and strong enough to last a lifetime.

We understand how much you have invested, both financially and emotionally in your new dining room or other furniture. We also want every part of the project to be a pleasure, including the final installation. From our factory to its final location in your home, your furniture will be carefully packed and expertly handled, then installed with painstaking precision to ensure everything looks, fits and functions exactly as it should.
